I began this blog elsewhere many years ago as a place to express my thoughts as a new mom. When I migrated to WordPress I transferred my old blog. I used to write a lot about pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and parenting in general,and occasionally still do. I often write about homeschooling, as we are immersed in that. Lately, I’ve been writing a lot about photography and scrapbooking. I’ve considered starting a new blog many times, but I kind of like having a long history. I do have a separate site for my Scrap for Hire business at michelepixels.com.
Recording history for myself, my family, and my friends is one of my passions. That is why I am an aspiring photographer and I enjoy scrapbooking. I might be a professional photographer someday, or maybe a doula-photographer combination, or perhaps create digital designs. Right now I am busy with three young homeschooling children, but I’m studying and practicing photography and design whenever I can.
