Project 365 Day 27 Snow!
Like much of the east coast yesterday, we got rain, sleet, and snow. Not a lot here in Virginia, but the sticky wet snow clung to the branches and tree trunks, and all day today it has been falling off. As I sit here at my desk in front of my kitchen window, I keep [...]
Project 365 Day 8
Already on week 2 of 2011?! I felt low energy today and didn’t feel like playing with my camera much. I think it’s because I started thinking of other things I need to do; that I can’t spend all my time playing with pictures and scrapbooking. Sigh. We woke up to find a rather heavy [...]
snow play
We just tentatively played in snow. Caroline carried some snowy leaves inside and scraped the snow into a bowl. Ian agreed to getting all bundled up but then stood in the doorway and watched me attempt to build a tiny snowman. LOL And he wouldn’t let me take a photo of him.

Blizzard: The Day After
Hee hee. Well, it was as close to a blizzard as I’ve seen. Today the clouds were gone and it was brilliantly sunny. Much better for taking photographs. Tomorrow is the first of Rhiannon’s six day drama camp. Wish us luck in driving!
Oh, the weather outside is delightful
The weather would be frightful if I had to go out, but I’m happy to be sitting in my kitchen nook at my desk situated in front of bay windows so I can look up from my laptop and watch the blizzard outside. It has been snowing non-stop since yesterday evening. As I type this [...]
